Is your plumbing recessed too deep into the wall? If you are unable to screw the flanges onto your EZYFIX Classic tapware, there is a good chance your plumbing is set too far back. This can occur in older homes where additional rendering or tiling has increased the wall thickness between the surface and the tap seat.
Our EZYFIX Classic tapware includes black PVC thread extenders, which will often resolve this issue. When they don’t, this in-wall tap seat and spindle extender kit provides an additional 15mm of reach, allowing for proper installation.
This kit is designed specifically for use with jumper valve (classic) tapware. If you are installing ceramic disc tapware, a separate extender kit is required.
