If your tap is leaking, the first step is to remove the existing cartridge and inspect the tap seat. If you notice marks, cracks or pinholes, the seat may need to be reseated using a tap reseating tool (available at most hardware stores). Once reseated, reinstall the cartridge and test for leaks.
If the tap is still leaking, you may need to replace the cartridges with this EZYFIX MK2 3/4 turn ceramic disc pair.
Important: These are MK2 cartridges, used in EZYFIX Modern Lever tapware from 2014 onwards. They can be identified by the red and blue soft rubber washers on the base. Earlier MK1 cartridges use white nylon washers and are not interchangeable due to a different handle fixing system, so it’s important to confirm you are ordering the correct version.
